Where is my data stored?

On your device, in the app's local storage. Muse never uploads your journal or photos to any server of ours — your data is as private as the photos on your phone.

How do I add a piece?

Tap the camera to photograph an artwork, or import a photo you already took. Straighten and crop it, then log the title, artist, genre, and venue along with a heart rating, a mood, and your impression. Muse pulls a color palette from the image automatically.

What are Collections?

Collections organize your journal automatically — browse everything you have logged grouped by venue, by artist, or by genre. No manual folders to maintain.

How do reports work?

Open a collection or hand-pick a set of pieces and create a report — a clean, magazine-style thread of your photos and impressions that you can keep or share through the iOS share sheet.

What's free, and what's Pro?

Building your journal, capturing pieces, and browsing collections are free. Muse Pro — a one-time purchase rather than a subscription — unlocks an unlimited journal, shareable reports, and color palettes on every piece.

Do you back up to iCloud?

Not in this version. Muse is offline-first and keeps everything on your device, so your journal is fully private. Share or export anything you want to keep a copy of outside the app.

Still stuck, or found a bug?

Email us — the fastest way is the in-app Settings → Send Feedback, which attaches your app version automatically. Or write directly to owal@teamam.org. We read everything.
