Where is my data stored?

On your device, in the app's local storage. Atelier never uploads your captures or catalog to any server of ours — your work is as private as the photos on your phone.

How does the gray-card white balance work?

Fill the frame with a neutral gray card under your shooting light and tap Gray card. Atelier locks white balance to that neutral so the colors you capture and catalog match the real painting. If the reading does not look neutral, the app asks you to reframe and try again.

What does Pro export include?

Atelier Pro exports batch print- and web-ready images (sRGB JPEGs sized for shops, sites, and socials) alongside a CSV inventory of every piece. Each CSV row names its exported image file, so the spreadsheet and the images stay joinable.

Can I edit a piece after capturing it?

Yes. Tap any artwork in the catalog to edit its title, dimensions, medium, year, series, price, and status at any time.

What's free, and what's Pro?

The full color-managed capture workflow and cataloging — with metadata and color palettes — are free. Atelier Pro, a one-time purchase rather than a subscription, unlocks an unlimited catalog plus batch image and CSV export.

Do you back up to iCloud?

Not in this version. Atelier is offline-first and keeps everything on your device, so your work is fully private. Use Pro export to keep copies of your images and inventory wherever you like.
